Brenda Craig is an accomplished writer and journalist who has covered a broad range of stories. From the fishery crisis in Newfoundland, to forest fires in British Columbia -- from federal election campaigns to the trial of Colin Thatcher and the free trade agreement.   

As the National's health reporter, she covered the Tainted Blood Inquiry, reported on the Vancouver's lower east side during International Aids Conference there in 1996 and was the first to report on hospital superbugs -- antibiotic resistant bacterial infections in Canada.

As the senior producer at Report on Business
Television (BNN) Brenda was an integral part of the start up Canada's first and only all business news channel.

She served as the foreign editor CTV Network news during 9-11 crisis and during the Afghanistan/Iraq war.

Brenda now works as a freelance writer. Her trademarks are compelling copy,  strong interviewing technique, and the never ending search for the answer to the question no one wanted to answer. 
 

She grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan an attended the U of Sasktchewan and Carleton University's journalism program. Her first paid writing assignment was a commentary for CBC Radio and was paid
